Harrier Track Club Overview
Harrier Track Club is an athletics program created for athletes of all ages and all levels. It is a program for the serious and non serious athlete. Whether you’re an athlete who wants to better all your personal records, someone who wants to get back in shape, an athlete who has never competed before and would like to give it a go, or just someone who has never been a part of an athletic program before and wants to try out, this program is for you.
Overview HTC goals
1. To promote athletics as a whole!
2. To promote and provide a youth program for youngsters in athletics.
3. To provide an opportunity for both serious and recreational athletes to advance their skills and knowledge in athletics.
4. To provide an opportunity for ANY athlete to improve and be competitive at local and regional or national and world levels.
Harrier Track Club was also created to provide an avenue for Washington’s post-collegiate elite runners who are not quite elite enough at this time to get picked up by the big shoe companies. In essence, Harrier Track Club is a farm team or a minor league club where athletes hope to improve and get noticed and sponsored by a team in the major leagues. The funding, the coaching, and the goals are outlined in the attached packet.

Our practices and conditioning classes run yearly. They are usually held every day of the week, with one being an intense workout, another a hard-pressed run and on Sunday morning, a very long run. (Up to 30 miles)
