Mark Anderson: A Nike sponsored 2:15:33 marathoner, 48th in 1979 World XC Championships in France, 4th in 1979 US XC National Championships; World team trials, Big 8 and Regional Cross Country Champion. 3rd in NCAA cross country. A 1980 Olympic Trials qualifier for the 10k and marathon and 1980 Bloomsday 12k Champion (only Washington runner to ever win Bloomsday). In high school Mark was the State AAA 2 mile Champ and XC runner up as a 16 year old junior and the State AA 2 mile second place finisher his senior year after a serious illness. Mark has a 10k PR of 28:28 and 1:05 in the half marathon.

Torry Lingbloom: Placed 9th in 1984 US Olympic 20k Race Walk trials. He placed 3rd in the US National 20k RW Championships in a new PNA-AAU record time. He broke the Washington state 9th grade marathon record with a time of 2:55, a time that still stands. He was also the 1978 Junior Olympic Mile RW Champion in a new National JO, Junior and high school record. He also won the 1978 Washington State Mile RW Championships in a new Washington state record time.  He finished 25th in the State XC meet and is still the school recorder holder in the marathon (2:38). Torry and Jim Pearson are the co-founders of the Freedom Flower Road Runners.

Mark Martin: Won the 1982 National Hour Run Junior Championship with 11 miles, 490 yards. 1982 PNW Hour-Run Championships (PNW Junior Record). Sixth in the State 3200 in 9:28. His 2:39 marathon in high school ranks him second on the FHS list.

Clayton Hemlock

Joel Pearson - Medalled in numerous Junior Olympics nationals in the steeplechase and in race walking.  He twice received awards for ranking in the top five among young American race walkers.  He won the 2005 Birch Bay marathon is presently the director of the Birch May marathon.
